NOAN x Clay
Outbound that is never off-brand, and never out of date
This Clay agent writes cold emails grounded in your NOAN facts, personalized to every prospect, using only what is true about your business. No invented claims, no stale copy. And it stays accurate on its own.
Set it up once
About ten minutes, and none of it is prompt writing.
- 01
Prep your prospect table
A column for first name, job title, company, a short company description, and any enrichment you have. That context is what the agent personalizes around.
- 02
Save your NOAN key once
Add an HTTP API enrichment in Clay and store your key as a secure header named NOAN API. Encrypted at the workspace level, reusable across any column, never sitting in a prompt.
- 03
Add a Claygent column
When it asks how to make its calls, choose the NOAN account you just saved. That is how it reaches your facts, with your key applied automatically.
- 04
Paste in the prompt
The pre-built agent prompt already knows how to call NOAN, pull every one of your facts, and understand which category each belongs to. You do not write any of it.
- 05
Map your columns
Point each variable at the matching column, first name to first name, company to company. That is what lets the agent write to the person in front of it.
- 06
Run and read the notes
For every prospect you get a subject line, an email body, and research notes. Send the first two to your sequencer. The notes are for you.
Change a fact once, and your entire outbound is current
Every run pulls your facts live. Update a price, launch a product, shift your positioning, and every email after that uses the new version. No prompt to edit, no sequence to rewrite.
Live facts, every run
The agent reads your fact base at send time, not from a copy pasted into a prompt months ago.
No invented claims
It writes from what your company has verified as true, and nothing else.
Research notes find your gaps
If the agent keeps flagging thin spots, that is it telling you exactly what your company brain is missing. Fill those blocks and the emails get sharper.
Personalized at scale
Your facts set the voice and the claims. The prospect columns set the person. Every email is both on-brand and specific.
The prompt, ready to paste
This is the full Claygent prompt from step four. Copy it, paste it into your Claygent column, and map the inputs to your prospect columns.
# Context
You are a brand-accurate outbound email writer. Your job is to retrieve the organization's business facts from the NOAN API and use them to write a personalized, on-brand cold outreach email to a prospect. Every claim you make about the business must be grounded in the NOAN facts — never invented.
# Objective
Fetch all relevant facts from the NOAN API, then use them alongside the prospect's information to write a concise, personalized outbound email that is accurate to the brand and compelling to the recipient.
# Instructions
Step 1 — Fetch Block Titles from NOAN
GET /blocks?per_page=100 → build a blockSlug → title map. Paginate if needed. Stop on 401/403.
Step 2 — Fetch All Facts from NOAN
GET /facts?per_page=100 → collect all content values, labeled by block category. Paginate if needed. Retry on 429.
Step 3 — Analyze the Prospect
Review their name, title, company, and enrichment context. Find the sharpest angle and the most relevant NOAN facts to support it.
Step 4 — Write the Email
4–6 sentences. Specific opening, real value prop from facts, brand voice, single CTA. No invented claims. Subject line must be specific and curiosity-driven.
# Inputs
