Smarter Document Insights & Seamless File Access

We're excited to announce several new features that make working with documents smoother and more transparent:

Source References in Document Responses

• When you request information from your documents, you'll now see a clear list of sources used for each response.
• This works just like the assistant's search feature—now you can instantly see which documents were referenced, giving you a transparent overview of the information's origin.

Quick Document Summaries

• In the Files section, every new upload will automatically generate a quick summary of the document's content.
• This feature is available for all files uploaded from now on (note: it's not retroactive for older files).

Improved File Viewing

• PDFs can now be opened directly in your browser for easy reading.
• Docs and CSVs will download with a single click, so you can view them instantly from the Files section.

These updates make it easier to track what's being used by the assistant and to check references or summaries at a glance. More improvements are on the way—stay tuned!
