See who created a task, including your agents

The task edit modal now shows who created each task, with a mark for tasks made by the assistant, an API key or an OAuth client, for everyone running people and agents on the same board.

Until now a task told you who it was assigned to, but not who made it. When a task appeared on the board, you could not tell at a glance whether a teammate added it, the assistant did, or an automation wrote it in.

What's new

  • A Created by row. The bottom of the task edit modal now shows the creator's avatar, name and when the task was made.
  • A mark for non-human creators. The avatar shows when a task came from the assistant, an API key or an OAuth client, so work created by an agent or automation is clear.
  • Clearer times everywhere. Date tooltips across fact history, task comments, integrations, asset versions and the task modal now read in your local time, like Oct 15, 2026 at 2:32 PM, instead of a raw UTC string.

Why it matters

People and agents share one board in NOAN, so it helps to know where each task came from. When you open a task you did not expect, the Created by row tells you in a moment whether a colleague raised it or an automation did, before you decide what to do with it.

Where to find it

Open any task and scroll to the bottom of the edit modal.
