Run the agent pack as your workspace's agent identity
The NOAN wizard can now set the open-source agent pack to run on your workspace's agent-role key, with people kept separate as the ones who steer and approve, for builders automating their workspace.
NOAN workspaces have an agent role: one agent identity per workspace, created by an Owner under Settings → Team → Agent, with its own API keys. Until now the wizard set the agent pack up on your personal key, which blurred two things that should stay apart. Your own task comments could be mistaken for the agent's own, and on an agent key nobody could approve the agent's work.
What's new
--agent-key <key>(orNOAN_AGENT_API_KEY, or a prompt) is the key the pack runs on. Without one, the pack runs on your personal key as before.- The agent and the people are kept apart. The agent's identity comes only from an agent-role key. The commanders who steer and approve come only from people: you,
COMMANDERS, or a prompt. - Work comes back to a person. On the agent key, the weekly fact review, parked tasks and support follow-ups are assigned to the person who ran the wizard, not left with nobody on them.
Why it matters
When the agent pack runs as the workspace agent, every fact it proposes and every task it drafts carries the agent's identity, and the people on the board stay the ones who approve. The Friday fact review lands assigned to you, ready to verify, instead of filed with no owner. People and agents work on the same board, and a person still decides what becomes truth.
