New assets are visible to your team by default

Assets you create in the app, the assistant, the REST API or MCP now show up for your whole team, just like notes, tasks and contacts.

Until now, an asset could land where only its creator saw it, so a draft report or memo sat out of view until someone shared it by hand. Notes, tasks and contacts were already visible to the team by default. Assets now work the same way.

What's new

  • Team-visible by default. Every new asset is visible to your team wherever it's created: the app, the assistant, the REST API or MCP.
  • Still private when you need it. The creator can make an individual asset private again from the app.
  • Agents draft, people approve. Point an agent key at asset creation and let it compose assets on a schedule. A Friday investor update or a research memo lands in front of your team, visible by default, ready for a person to read and approve before it goes out.

Why it matters

The moment an agent finishes a draft is the moment a teammate should be able to see it. With assets visible to the team by default, automated work shows up where everyone can review it, and nothing sits in one person's view waiting to be shared. People and agents work on the same board, and a person still decides what ships.

Where to find it

Assets you or your agents create appear for your team automatically. To make one private, open the asset in the app and set its visibility.

For API callers: POST /v1/tasks no longer accepts the deprecated creatorEmail field. Tasks created through REST are now owned by the key that created them and are visible to the team. Requests that still send creatorEmail return a 400. If you have an integration that sets this field, remove it before your next run.
