Give your agents their own identity

Create an agent in Team settings and it becomes a real identity in NOAN: assign it tasks on the board like any teammate, and issue it its own API key.

Until now an automation borrowed a person's API key and watched for work by convention. From today an agent can be its own identity in your workspace. Open Settings, then Your Project, then Team, and use Create agent in the Agent panel under your member list. You name the agent yourself, and that name is what the workspace sees.

Assign work to it, on the same board

An agent identity appears alongside people in a task's Assignees, so dispatching work to an automation is the same act as giving it to a teammate: open the task, pick the agent, and it is theirs. The board stays the one place work is handed out, tracked and audited, whether a person or an agent is doing it, and you can filter by assignee to see everything an agent is carrying.

Its own keys, not a borrowed one

Each agent carries its own API keys. They can be scoped to the resources and stacks that agent actually needs and revoked on their own, without disturbing anyone's personal key. An automation stops inheriting a person's access, and turning one off no longer means rotating a key someone else depends on.

Why it matters

Work assigned to a named agent can be found, reassigned and reviewed like any other work, and the keys behind it are bounded to what that agent does. It is the difference between a script running quietly under someone's account and an agent you can point at, supervise and switch off.
