What is NOAN?

Yes! NOAN is particularly suitable for solopreneurs, owners of/teams in small businesses and startups looking to scale. Agencies & consultants also use NOAN to work with clients, collaborate with them on brand development, and leave them with a tool to keep their brand content aligned in the long term. 

Is NOAN suitable for all types of businesses?

NOAN actively customizes itself to your specific needs & goals. As you work through our Smart Blocks, NOAN learns your company and your strategy, and as you collaborate with it to develop that strategy further, all the recommendations and suggestions are personalized by whatever you have already input, so NOAN helps you evolve and accentuate the nuances of your business you and your customers value most. It’s not built with any one business type or model in mind, so it can adapt to any model. 

Can NOAN help my business?

Our philosophy on how AI should work for businesses. We believe using AI to build your business shouldn’t require learning new techniques or skills. It should make everything easier and more connected, and the user should have full control at all times. To make an AI platform for building business like NOAN, we put that mindset at the core of how we developed it, so NOAN prioritizes building your strategy as a priority, and then makes it as easy as possible for you to to execute on that strategy by helping you craft recommendations and content that are directly connected to that strategy. We sit upstream of a lot of other AI business platforms, which are often focused on how to deploy content or strategy. NOAN focuses on building the right strategy first, because if you don’t have the right strategy to deploy, how & where you deploy it doesn’t really matter. 

What makes NOAN different from other AI business platforms?

Basic (single user access) at $99/month or $999/year, and Scale (multi-user access with 3 seats) at $199/month or $1999/year. Both tiers include access to AI-powered strategy stacks of NOAN’s Smart Blocks™, unlimited use of NOAN Creator, The Intel strategy zine, and early features for annual subscribers. Users can purchase extra seats for $79 each.

Is there a trial period, and how does it work?

In your account page you can upgrade from the Basic to the Scale tier to unlock multi-user access and add additional features. 

How can I upgrade my subscription plan?

Are there any discounts available? CHEEKY! Annual subscriptions offer substantially discounted rates compared to monthly payments (12 months for the price of 10). The Scale package, bought annually, offers the best per-seat cost. NOAN users can also avail of thousands of dollars worth of savings via our benefits platform, accessible via their account page. NOAN is partnered with Squarespace, so Squarespace users can get discounted NOAN subscriptions through their Business Tools and Circle membership. Got features to recommend or found a significant bug that we should patch? We’ll reward you with discounts for helping make NOAN a better place for everyone. Furthermore the first person to correctly identify the MacGuffin on NOAN will receive a free NOAN subscription for a year.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

We use Stripe to handle payments, which accepts credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay

NOAN Create Mode is a versatile generative AI tool that enables users to generate any asset they need, such as blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, marketing copy, policy docs and more, based on their business strategy. 

What is NOAN Create Mode?

NOAN Create Mode can generate various assets, including blog posts, social media content, email newsletters, marketing copy, website copy, product descriptions, press releases, case studies, eBooks, video scripts, employee onboarding documents, FAQ content, job descriptions, training resources, internal communications, user manuals, and technical documentation. Users keep surprising us with new ways of using this part of NOAN. 

What types of assets can I generate using NOAN Create Mode?

NOAN uses OpenAI and Anthropic models in its Smart Blocks™ and Creator tools. The 'Assess' function in Smart Blocks™ uses Perplexity AI's model with live internet search capabilities. We’re constantly evaluating new models and re-evaluating existing ones, and we’ll add/remove them as appropriate if we feel they add value without overwhelming the user. What AI models does NOAN use?

The minute you’re in, they’re on. BUT, to use NOAN Create Mode, you'll need to complete the Smart Blocks in both the Foundation and Brand stacks, to give the system enough context to tailor responses to your organisation.

How quickly can I start using the AI tools and features?

NOAN's AI-powered Smart Block workflows are organized into 10 Stacks that are focused on building a complete, connected business: Those stacks are Foundations, Brand, Content, Membership, Experience, Product, Operations, Advertising, Growth, and Sales. Each stack enables users to develop comprehensive strategies using AI generation, editing, and assessment. We don’t make you talk to a chatbot, but similarly we don’t make you work any harder than you need to. Our AI workflows have been built by industry experts at the top of their game, so their expertise is baked into the behind-the-scenes prompting.

What makes NOAN's AI-powered workflows unique?

Every piece of AI-generated content can be edited by the user, either to store as part of your company knowledge, or to export to another platform for use.

Can I customize the AI-generated assets?

Smart Blocks™ are AI-powered blocks within NOAN's platform that enable users to generate, edit, and assess their strategy in specific areas such as brand, content, product, and more. The strategy developed in Smart Blocks is stored as business knowledge, which can be referenced by NOAN Create Mode for asset generation. Each Smart Block is powered by a tailored prompt that calls on the perfect mix of company knowledge to develop that aspect of your strategy in a connected way. Each Smart Block also allows the user regenerate the content with tailored instructions, assess it using live AI web search, learn more about the concept via case studies and guides, and some even have related offers. Each Smart Block™ is a powerhouse!

What are Smart Blocks™?

The only limit is your imagination (vomits a little into own mouth). Seriously, no.

Are there any limits on how much I can generate with NOAN?

Not at present, but it’s on the short-term roadmap. However you’ll see suggestions for prompts or descriptions of suggested imagery and visual assets with NOAN’s responses.

How does NOAN use cookies?

NOAN’s Smart Blocks™ and NOAN Creator both leverage the user's entire business knowledge stored in the Smart Blocks and select the most appropriate portions as key, weighted context in its prompts. That ensures that all generated content is aligned with the overall business strategy, maintaining consistency and relevance. It’s how we avoid the highly-generalized answers you get by going straight to LLMs.

How does NOAN ensure the quality and relevance of AI-generated content?

Is my data being used to train LLMs?

Yes. Email accounthelp@getnoan.com and it will be deleted ASAP. All requests will be actioned within 30 days. Self-serve flow for this is on our roadmap.

Can I delete my account and data completely?

The Intel is NOAN's strategy zine, a resource included in both Basic and Scale subscription tiers. It comprises several hundred case studies, interviews and profiles on some of the best companies and brands from all over the world.

What is The Intel?

We love to connect users within our platform. While we focus on building the best AI platform we can, having a formal community is still a work in progress.

Are there networking opportunities within the NOAN community?

Does NOAN integrate with other tools and platforms I already use?

NOAN uses in-app chat to engage with customers, and users can also reach out via email at hello@getnoan.com. We really like to talk to our users, so expect us to be responsive.

Do you provide training or resources to help me get started with NOAN?
